Today, Earth Observation constellation operations are limited by intermittent communication, which restricts them to talking to their satellites only for 4-10 minutes, twice a day.
This short communication window prevents them from tasking their satellite in real-time or receiving time-critical data, which can lead to missed opportunities and significant risk in the event of an anomaly.
ANT61 Beacon is a hardware solution that provides satellite operations with a continuous, secure, 24/7 communication channel to their asset in orbit (LEO). This real-time, two-way data link enables immediate tasking, data receipt and critical capabilities such as root cause analysis and failure recovery, even if the satellite is not fully functional. It has a space heritage since February 2024.

As the industry prioritises rapid deployment and cost reduction, the DOA rate has climbed to a critical level, with more than 25% of new satellites failing to achieve their mission objectives. This trend presents a significant, quantifiable risk that demands a renewed focus on quality assurance and mission readiness.
Most of our customers today are fast-growing Earth observation constellation operators with TAM projected to reach $8B by 2030. From SAR to hyperspectral imaging, they all need a way to deliver insights from space to their customers in minutes via the ANT61 Beacon, rather than hours and days via a ground station network. With 5,000 satellites launched a year, this market is projected to grow at 15% p.a.
