We are building robot workers for industrial scale space operations

to inspect and maintain space stations and national security satellites

šŸ“‰Ā The Problem

Space is going to be industrialized in this decade. Billions are flowing into private stations to replace the ISS, Golden Dome security satellites, and space data centers, yet the ability to maintain them at scale is sorely lacking.

Currently, astronauts spend 100 hours per week on manual maintenance, costing $130,000 an hour—or $15M per week. Tasks like filming public engagement video, logistics management, CO2/ammonia leak detection, and maintenance spacewalks are still performed manually, at high-risk and high-cost.

Furthermore, the Space Force and NRO struggle to have domain awareness for their satellites. It’s hard to verify if their satellite deployed properly, was hit by space debris, or is being dazzled by an adversary without actually seeing it.

šŸ’”Ā Our Solution

Dual-Use Robots, ORB & exoORB

Automate routine work inside space stations

ORBES is training space robots on Earth for a fraction of the cost.

Our first product ORB is a free-flying robot for space station interior media capture and item logistics. We provide it as a Robot-as-a-Service, along with a mission-planning dashboard to operate ORB semi-autonomously.

Our future product exoORB is a cubesat with cold gas thrusters for exterior inspection. Small ORBs can ride along with giant national security satellites, then deploy and orbit as physical security to counter threats like space debris or adversary attacks.

šŸ‘Ā The Vision

ORBES robot become the backbone of space infrastructure construction and maintenance. ORBs are as common in space as drones are on Earth.
