The global space market is experiencing significant growth, projected to expand from $447 billion in 2022 to over $1 trillion by 2030. This growth is driven by the increasing deployment of satellites and the rising demand for space-based applications. As more satellites are launched and space missions increase, there is a critical need for advanced, reliable, and efficient space infrastructure. Aptos is uniquely positioned to meet these emerging needs with its cutting-edge technology that enhances satellite capabilities.

Problem

Traditional satellites face several significant limitations that hinder their effectiveness and operational efficiency. Most satellites lack the ability to process data onboard, relying instead on ground stations for analysis. This dependency leads to delays and inefficiencies, as raw data must be transmitted back to Earth for processing. Additionally, current satellite systems suffer from intermittent connectivity, as they require a direct line of sight to ground stations, which limits their ability to communicate to just a few minutes per hour. Furthermore, satellites are isolated from modern cloud environments, making it difficult to deploy and manage applications in space, thereby limiting their functionality.
